Friday, Nov 11, when I went grocery shopping, the store informed me that they were now charging for bags! I had no idea since I don’t have a TV or read the newspapers. I had to buy paper bags to bring home my groceries in. After the trip from cart to taxi trunk and out of taxi trunk onto the porch, most of the bags were torn and useless. Lesson learned - most of the bags I had made years ago in advance of this day were in someone else’s car, so I had to start making more. This is the first of the 2nd generation of market bags.
