I think the instructions in this pattern are incorrect. When I followed the instructions I got a triangular cloth that kept getting wider. I don’t think the increases belong at the ends of the rows. I think they belong on either side of the center stitch. I frogged back to the beginning and am now making my increases before and after the center st on the right sides of the cloth. This should leave me with a bind-off edge that is two entire sides of the cloth.

Great - redoing the cloth as I suspected worked out fine and I made two from the ball of yarn I had. The first one has a border and the 2nd one was worked till I had only enough yarn left for the bind-off. No border on it.

I found this stripey yarn in this color had 2 knots in the ball I used. both were very close to the ends, which I found particularly annoying. Grrr. Also, the ball band said the yarn was made in China! I thought this was a spinrite yarn made in Canada.
