I got 18.5 sts/4” on #4 needles 44 rows/4” instead of 22 sts /24 rows per 4”. Decided to use #3 needles instead.
11/2 Got most of a leaf done!
11/3 Calculated gauge at 23.5 sts/4”. Completed 12 repeats of the first section. Am wondering if I should do more than 51…?
11/4 Realized late last night that I somehow had an extra 3 sts about 16 rows back. (Probably due to a CO 6 instead of a CO 3 in a WEP while watching TV!). Decided to keep going and do a k2tog tbl at the ends of rows 26 and 29 in repeat 13 and row 26 in repeat 14. Finally back on the right number of sts!
11/5 Completed repeat 28. Keep having trouble with extra sts…
11/6 Completed repeat 35. According to my bf, I’m just over halfway done with the first repeat! I’m ready for some CC!
11/8 Completed repeat 42. I’m definitely ready for the next part of the pattern…
11/11 Did some knitting at a friend’s house over the weekend. Apparently I forgot to count one of the repeats, so I’m having to tink back 4 rows… I was all ready to start the CC and realized the mistake. Hopefully I can get to it tomorrow!
11/13 FINALLY started doing the CC and am LOVING it :)
12/20 Had to take a break from working on projects for myself to make Christmas presents for others when I got home from Thanksgiving vacation (11/26). Hopefully I’ll be able to get back to ZC in the next week! I definitely have some catching up to do before I can get to #3!!!
12/22 I broke down and decided that I had to take some time to relax today! I pulled out season 1 of Farscape and ZC and had a wonderful evening!! I got through repeat 3 of rows 7-10.
12/28 (am) Just got through repeat 2 of the very last row before I had to go to work. I’m looking forward to getting ZC off the needles tonight :)
12/28 (pm) Finished knitting last row and wove in all of the ends. Still need to block. Took a few preliminary pictures. Still need to figure out how to wear!
