22/4/11 - finished the seaming of the sweater and all the weaving in of ends today. Took some pics too. Final photo shoot coming :)
19/4/11 - knitting is done, will block sleeves tonight. I’d like to start seaming the back and sides tonight. Hopefully will have a new cardigan by the weekend.
17/4/11 - finished the fronts, they’re blocking right now. On to the sleeves…
14/4/11 - half done the second front, trying to power through this.
2/4/11 - Finished right front. Will block tonight. Started left front this afternoon.
1/4/11 - time to blow the dust of this baby and her done in time for the deadline! Starting first front. Falling love with this all over again! I really want a cream cardi for spring!
22/2/11 - back is done and blocking, some minor mods and one miss crossed cable later.
21/2/11 - power knitting! I’m way past the point where I frogged.
20/2/11 - I frogged the back. Darn, I hate doing that. I just wasn’t happy with the cross cables. One side looked fine but the other was all loose and sloppy. I’m starting again but just doing a simple twist cable on either side. Darn, darn, darn, I have some serious catch up knitting to do now…
11/2/11 - I’m slowly moving along. I’m at about 10 inches now on the back. I’m crossing the cables on the lattice the “right” way. The way the pattern has them written is fine and I enjoyed Cirilia’s explanation of why they are are wonky but it’ll bug me if I knit them as written.
I’m not sure I like the cross over cable yet. Time will tell, and then it will be too late ;)
5/2/11 - worked on this instead of the prime mittens. Fun cables.
3/2/11 - cast on tonight and finished the back ribbing and the set up row. Wow! Charts all over! I hope once I get rolling it will speed up but it took a while to get that set up row done!
2/2/11 - okay I need to swatch this and get my dissertation ready.
