Notes

Using some of my Stroll Tonal Sampler to put together some ombre arm warmers…

Started with Train station as the cuff, then comes Gypsy, then Wine tasting, and now Pansy. I’ve done 8 (4&4) of alternating rows between color changes, and sofar it’s looking pretty gradual due to the tonal nature of the yarns.

After Pansy came deep waters, then Blue Yonder, then Frozen. The Blue Violet/Blue Yonder was the most jarring transition, but I think they look great!

I modified the thumbs - I picked up 3 stitches at the gap, knitted 7 rows with blue yonder, then switched to twisted rib for 5/6 rounds before binding off.

Now I just have 1,000 ends to weave in.

Oh! I also added 4 stitches at some point in the palms before separating the thumbs. The stitches still stretch a bit around the palms but not as bad as my other mitts.

All told, these took exactly 50g of yarn!
