Notes

Lieveke was in need of a new all round cardi.
She likes olives, oaks and acorns.
Yes there is something truly magic about acorns!

So we went for Carol Sundays’ Acorns pattern, with quite a few mods.
Left out the decreased point of the front lace pattern, just a bit too frilly for us.
Knitted the (smallest adult size) yoke with smaller needles and worked the body and sleeves with 3.75mm.
For body and sleeves I used my own (experimental) numbers, I’m amazed it all fits and looks swell.
Notes to follow.

The yarn is amazing, somehow Tosh never fails, this shade is so rich, the glazed aspect really comes out. The cardigan is light and drapey. Worked the yoke, borders and cuffs in the slightly lighter skein, the body and arms in the darker one. The sleeves and body grew quite a bit in length after a wash, which was great (perhaps she can wear it a year longer or so we’ll see)
