Used Rye as a guide since it walks you through the steps really clearly, but changing up the pattern to a 2x2 rib. Also based the calf width based on Thuja, which I was originally going to use as a guide before I found Rye.

I swore I was never going to knit socks since that’s what everyone and their dog asks for when they hear I knit (and an easy answer is ‘I don’t knit socks’). But my favourite cousin wore me down, so I’m attempting a pair for him.
