19th - cast on. Using the Lanett double stranded. To intarsia in the round or not to intarsia in the round?

20th - I changed from in-the-round to not-in-the round a couple of times, and ended up doing a combination. I think next time I’ll do the front and back intarsia sections separately and seam up both sides for symmetry.

21st - using #5 needles for the arms to make them a bit more flexible. I realized I need to get some washable stuffing, so there are lots of bits on pins and spare needles.
