My first scarfy was the one in Kureyon on the right. My aunt wears a lot of earth tones, and I knew right away that she would love this colorway, and that the rougher texture of the Kureyon would suit her. Now that I’ve made the pattern in both Kureyon and Silk Garden, I think I actually prefer it in Kureyon.

I subsequently used my extra skein of this Kureyon colorway as one of the two colorways for a diagonal striped scarf following the Unicorn Pegasus Rainbow Scarf pattern.

I made the second scarf for a friend who has spent a lot of time in Japan, and Silk Garden suits her better. The black in the yarn goes wonderfully with her dark hair.
