I cast on 40 stitches (using the long-tail cast on) and alternated between sections of five or ten knits and purls. After about 18 rows of the same pattern I would begin a new section alternating five or ten knits and purls. Once I had about three sections completed I began to repeat the sections to add some uniformity.

The yarn is super soft and squishy. The drape is amazing and the cowl feels wonderful against my skin. I highly recommend this yarn!
