It took me six months, but I’m finished! I’m very pleased with how the poncho turned out. The pattern was very easy to follow, the hardest part was simply working through so much stockinette stitch.

I stopped knitting a few inches shy of the recommended length of 50”, I stopped at 41” because my yarn was stretchy and I knew it would be drapey. I didn’t want it to hang too long for my short stature after I wore it for several hours. This ended up being a great decision for me as I think the length came out just right for my body type.

I have enough yarn leftover to make a cowl, but I’m not sure which cowl pattern to make just yet. I think I’d like to have something a bit more decorative than what this pattern calls for.
