Her shawls are so fun to knit.
This is what I really enjoy about knitting - patterns like this shawl.

Going in different shades of green so i can successfully go bird watching in camo.

Getting perfect gauge on size 5 needles, I went up a size to achieve this after reading lots of people had smaller gauge = smaller shawl.

As others recommended, I am adding a YO in between the first and second stitch and then dropping it on the next knitting row. It is just adding that extra looseness that this edging needs when you are increasing so much. ( i’ll do this for the entire shawl.) It is adding a nice edging, and eliminating the curl of the shawl edge that i got with my study stripe shawl.

Finished ! Does need blocking .. will add finished pics soon. Love it !
