Notes

Decided on this pattern today. Received yarn yesterday. ( I will admit, i slept with a ball ).
This is my first Malabrigo - i totally see the hype of it all. This is also my first attempt at a adult sweater! :/ I have measured myself, and liking things rather non-clingy, have decided to go with the size 36. Casting on this afternooon….. ah a nice weekend of ‘self- knitting’ !!

ONE week into this project, and pure joy. the pattern is like no other, its so interesting. i could do this for a long time happily. :) i’m just about to finish the yoke shaping, and work the (short) sleeves onto scrap yarn.

sunday … day 18 of cria = 10 rows after the second increase in BODY section and i have decided to cut it short and begin my pockets ( I am short and do not want a draggy sweater). I have tried this on several times already and seems a bit large,,, crossing my fingers this Malabrigo doesnt swell too much with blocking.

why have i put this away for so long??!

finished !!
these pics are taken before blocking :: and the malabrigo does seem to be stretching in there.
I feel like getting out my 70’s courderoy… i do believe i hear Jim Morrison playing in there….

next time i will make this in grey, long sleeve, omitting pockets. or maybe red with funky yellow buttons. a wonderful design!
