test knitting the Lispenard Cowl Cables & Lace Pattern for Kirsten Kapur

I had to go way down on needle size to get any kind of pattern structure with this fuzzy yarn. I chose Alpaca for the low density and drape quality. I do like items of little weight if they are going to be longer and draped round my neck. I shortened this project - My cowl is 11 inches wide, 34 inches long blocked. I omitted the buttons , at beginning and end I did 5 rows of garter stitch. Ends woven together.

. Does requires some concentration , end results have made me very happy. It’s beautiful ! Would make my grandmas proud.
