The yellow colour change - how to:

I threw my notes out a looooong time ago, so I’m only about 98% sure of exactly where in the pattern I changed one shade of yellow for another, but this is what I believe I did…
I made the colour change on row 53 of the yellow sections (i.e. sections 2,5,8,11,14). When you look at the pattern, it is after row 52 (and after rows 1-4 were worked “12 times more”) when the shape of the section changes. The first half of the yellow section (in either section 2 or 5 - they’re really the same section in a nutshell) kind of widens/is slanted in shape for the first 52 rows. Then starting with row 53, it diminishes into a sort of a triangular part. I also remember wanting the colour change to happen in the middle part of the yellow section, so that would mean it would happen on row 53 (i.e. yellow section has 104 rows in total, so half of that is 52).

Overall project impression: very easy and satisfying to knit. Quite repetitious, but as soon, as you get bored with a section, the knitting progresses faster and faster, due to short row construction. This was my first time doing short rows - I found them very easy to execute, thanks to a very clear explanation/instruction in the pattern.
I steam-blocked the coverlet into submission.
Yarn amounts used: I bought 3 large (454g) balls of yarn (dk yellow and both blues) and 1 skein of light yellow (Cornmeal, 198g) - used up slightly less than half of each skein.
