Although the name of the project looks like a Nine Inch Nails reference, it comes about because I’m knitting these socks using a 9 inch needle (hence NIN). I’ve wanted to try this method for knitting socks for a long time. I thought it would be more awkward using a short circular like this, but it is actually not bad (except for the first couple of rows).
