Originally started it in October 25th, 2012 as a test knit but it didn’t work out. Restarted in March as a travel project for going to a conference.

Finished the knitting part of the project. The decreases are really interesting and unique and allow for the special circular shape of the shawl. Note that the chart is not a typical knitting chart. Each column represents a section of the shawl (there are 7 altogether) and in a decreasing row all of the decreases take place in only one or two of the sections. I thought that It would make the shawl bunch up, but it just gives the shawl a nice curvature.

December 8th. Finally blocked the shawl. In the mean time great changes took place in my life. I got a new job and relocated to a different state. I am unpacking winter clothes and this beauty showed up.
