I wanted to use up this extra white I got. The colors are all stash yarn!

I used this tutorial to join the squares. I’m really really happy with the way they look!

Border:
Round 1: hdc around, working (hdc 2, ch 2, hdc 2) in the corners, and one double crochet in the “dips” between the squares.
Round 2: sc around, working (sc 2, ch 2, sc 2) in the corners. Although if I made this again, I would only do sc 1, ch 2, sc 1 in the corners.
Round 3: hdc around, working (hdc 2, ch 2, hdc 2) in the corners.
Round 4: ch 1, sc in same space, (make picot {ch 2, sl st in second chain from hook, sc in next stitch}, skip two stitches, dc 6, skip 2 stitches, sc 1) --repeat between () around. When the scallop ended up on the corner, I did 8 dc in the corner. When the picot ended up in the corner, I worked {sc, ch 2, sl st in second chain from hook, sc in next stitch} all in the corner.

I’m so happy with the way this turned out! It’s so cute, and overall, it was a pretty fast project!
