I was not a huge fan of this pattern. It wasn’t written in a way for a beginner to understand (I didn’t have any problems, but someone not used to reading patterns or making toys may not have understood what part of each round was supposed to be repeated). Also, I didn’t like the way the shoulders turned out, so I improvised the arms. finish rnd 18 in sc; sc one more round; stitch closed; sew on I may have just needed to try it again though. If I do this pattern again, I’ll attempt the shoulders.

I decided not to do felt on the feet, mostly for timing’s sake. He is part of a larger gift I’m trying to finish up (he goes with this sweater). He took me about 8 1/2 hours total.
