This sweater didn’t actually take me two months to do.. It spent a lot of that time just sitting on my needles while I gathered motivation.

I cast on the sweater with a provisional cast on. I also used double pointed needles to do the sleeves. However, I did mess up the bottom of the sleeves. If you look closely, you can see the decreases for the sleeves that are supposed to be underneath. They’re more in front because the end of my round wasn’t put in the correct place (the middle of the picked up stitches). The trickiest part was to make the other sleeve mirror the first sleeve after I messed this up.

The only modification I made was to remove the hood. I simply picked up (and knit) the stitches for the button band, and then picked up (and knit) the stitches for the collar at the same time. Then down the button band on the other side. I had to knit into the stitches for the collar to make sure the color change was on the right side.
