The pieces knit up lickity-split, but then I remembered that I am neither a seamstress nor a crocheter and hit a bit of a wall. Initial attempts at chain-stitching the front detail were ugly and uneven, so there was an exhaustive period of doing and un-doing and re-doing until I was pleased with the result. Even so, it appears that the curviest parts of the chain stitches occur directly over my boobs. Novice crocheter or attention-seeking harlot? Either way…

As far as the seaming went: I’m a loyal knit-in-the-round’er and this was my first FO knit in pieces. That said, my assemblage…left much to be desired. Despite best efforts, the right side hem dangles a few inches lower than the left. Sloppy? Nay - it’s INTENTIONALLY ASYMMETRICAL, Y’ALL. (Fortunately, a good blocking made the discrepancy less obvious.)

My other mod (this one legitimately intentional)? Post-seaming, I picked up a few stitches around the neckline and knit a few rounds in garter, decreasing over the shoulders, and giving me a tighter fit.
