May 2023 Update: Over ten years later and I still wear the heck out of this thing. Updated with a photo of it as worn during a recent trip to Scotland.

Adapted the pattern to use a single 328-yard skein of Unisono. Knit as-written through the garter stitch body, then did one repeat of the Roman Stitch pattern before doing a standard Picot-edge bind-off. Out of curiosity (and knowing that I did not have enough yarn to complete it), I knit a few rows of the Picot-edge bind-off from the pattern - it looked lovely. I have no doubt that I will knit an unmodified version of this pattern again; it was a fun one.

I adore the colors in this yarn, so Southwestern and warm (says I, shivering in the midst of a cold, wet Wintry mix). Finding the Perfect Pattern to display these colors was difficult; I cast on and frogged four early(/disappointing) attempts before finding contentment with Henslowe.
