Can make a hat in an evening. I am not as fast a some people who have said they can do it in 2 hours but if I don’t finish that night I will finish it easliy the next and start another one. These are perfect gifts for my daughter’s friends and my coworkers now want them too. Please be careful the pattern has some flaws. I followed “heybales” advise…at the end of each round I added a sc before the BEG Shell; also before the BEG Shell on each round, I did a slip stitch to the center, then did the 2 sc into the chain 1 space. Also I liked the thicker worsted weight for Michigans colder weather. Caron Simply Soft yarn made the same hat seem much lighter in weight and flimsy.
