jan 30,2010:Pay close attention to all instructions if you have not made the pattern before it can be a little confusing at first. But it is more because you think you know what it is doing when you don’t

jan 30 frogged red made mistake on back increase (make sure you only have four points) (don’t continue to increase at center of back after two rows)

jan 30 started in black and frogged half another mistake on black increase continued again in black

Jan 30-31 frogged at least 7 times not the pattern fault but mine. For some reason my head isn’t clear and I keep making stupid mistakes in the corners. all my mistakes not the patterns.

Feb 4: Pay close attention to the corners I made myself a little guide that said what happened in each corner around the yoke part as the only changes happen in the corners
here is my guide in case someone else wants to use it they can and when I want to make more I can recheck this and remember this is what happens in the corner shells (abridge version)

R1 corners sc/sh inc/ sc
R2 corners sc/sh/sc
R3 corners sc
R4 corners sh inc

Never crochet on auto pilot forgot to turn work every row so if I wear this with a white cami you can see that mistake three times as the slant of the stitches changes in blocks instead of every row. good thing I only want to wear it with a black cami so it wouldn’t be seen have to remember that in the future no auto pilot.

But it is done next one will be tones better. Even though I made a ton of mistakes on this it is not the patterns fault all mine. pattern is well written

orange stitch markers are where I am going to put 1 of 3 snaps to keep that opening closed better. There is 1 snap half way between each closure and one half way between the bottom closure and the middle of the underarm. The reason I am using snaps instead of doing what others have done who sew it closed is because I actually own 5 Cheongsam that are made in the orient and that is what they did between the frog closures on it so I am doing the same.
