Finally made my Gretel! Only 5 years after adding to my rav queue. I made the ‘fitted’ shape but still blocked it over a plate, to get a subtle beret.

Two days before these pics were taken, the hat was blown off my head, dragged across 6 lanes of traffic and driven over by several cars. It seems to have survived - bless it!

Suffice to say my days of adding 20 artful SLR photos to every project are gone - iPad selfies are the best i can manage now.

PS - I love this yarn - and it’s not grey!! (Have started a curly scarf to go with the hat.)
