This was ever such a quick and easy knit for my wee boy, who has sadly outgrown his owl hat (tragedy!). I knocked it up in 2 - 3 hours whilst watching TV.

As he’s 2 months old I made the second size up (baby/toddler) - however I removed a repeat by casting on fewer stitches (91 instead of 104) to counteract the fact that I was using DK yarn instead of sock yarn.

The finished hat is lovely on and looks as though it will fit him for a few months.
