Notes

Modifications (to make them fit my dad’s hands):

  • use of 6-ply yarn as well as 3.5 mm needle and same number of sts
  • increase thumb gusset to 17 (instead of 15) sts
  • thumb: pick up 5 additional sts and don’t decrease
  • end the thumb with 1 knit row, 1 purl row and 1 knit row
