Trying my hand at my first stuffed toy. I stumbled across this pattern while browsing. It looks so adorable, and the description is entertaining. The pattern itself is very detailed, with plenty of photos, and so far I’m finding it easy to follow along.

Boo-boop, body done, just need to do the top hat, monocle, and affix a moustache.

Next time around:

  • Stuff the body a little more, really get the polyfil into the bottom increases.
  • Undecided whether to stuff the legs more. I think I was rather timid this first time out.
  • Be careful about how I weave in the ends of the legs after attaching them to the body. They’re prone to loosening, I see, as the legs flop around.
  • More cowbell.
