Cast on as part of the NDS GBW KAL.

13-10-12: have knit 2.5 inches and reached point for short row shaping of the neck, but my gauge is WAY off on 4mm. Too much jiggling about with the maths to carry onand each front will be over 4 inches too long, so I’m just going to rip it back to the cast on.
14-10-12. Now back to where I was, stitch gauge now spot on -row gauge out by one row, so hopefully ok.
21-10-12: 8 repeats into the first set of raglan increases. I’m taking this on the Eurostar, so I should get a nice chunk of knitting time on it!
1-1-13: Okay, so I did work on it in France, but haven’t done much since. After a virtual two month hiatus, I picked this up again over Christmas and I’m just about to start the waist decreases. Looks a bit on the big side, but it’s hard to tell with only three inches below the underarm.
8-4-13: Slowgoing on all crafts so far this year, but after did all decreases, it was about 9.5 inches under underarm and at my natural waistline. Decided to increase length, so then started increases every 10 rows. Did two sets of increases and cast off just before the third (on holiday, no extra yarn with me!). It still seems quite high but I haven’t blocked it yet. I’m now 30 lb lighter than when I cast on, but my advice would be make it smaller than you think you need it. Can’t wait until it’s blocked - I’m going to focus on blocking down, not out.

14-4-13: LOVE LOVE LOVE this! so much so I cast a second one on in different yarn within 24 hours…
