Blocked Gauge: 24 sts + 32 rows = 10cm

Oh how I love this piece! Delicate, light, feminine & ethereal - everything that I could want in a summer cardigan. The design has a lovely casual elegance & can be worn to the office or for moonlit strolls along the beach.

The pattern is perfect and I recommend it without hesitation to both new & experienced knitters alike. Heidi’s Vitamin D pattern had previously my favorite summer cardigan but I think this might have a a slight edge ;-)

I knit the pattern as written with the exception that I lengthened the sleeves slightly & I CO fewer underarm sleeve sts. I also single crocheted the bottom edge of the hem to add a bit more stability.
I had contemplated making the piece longer, but I am now glad that I did not as the yarn grew a lot.

In terms of yarn choice I am quite happy with the Serena. It was nice to work with (although it does ‘shed’ quite a bit) & it has a lovely drape.
