A Christmas stocking for my younger grandson Lev! His parents chose this vintage pattern.

I started out trying to knit it in the round, but Intarsia in the round was way too complicated for someone who hadn’t knit intarsia flat yet.

Tree is knitted with Vanna’s Choice “Seaspray Mist” lightly variegated.

Santa’s beard is knitted from Sensations “Beautiful” Acrylic-Nylon. I knitted an I-cord to hang the stocking.

I lined the stocking with flannel so that gifts won’t get caught in the yarn tailings on the back.
