July 16 Jason requested cotton yarn, so I’ve adjusted needle size. I knit 4 rounds 1x1 ribbing followed by 10 rounds in orange then switched to yellow. Still knitting, tryna decide on length and decrease method since cotton is flimsier than other yarns.

July 17 24 rounds of yellow then started decreases over 15 rounds per the pattern instructions. Damn near perfect size.

For ear flaps, I knit 16 rounds in stockinette before beginning decreases per pattern.
