Bumped it up to worsted yarn, and used a size 8 needle for a medium hat; this fit my 16 year old perfectly.

Rather than use the clever slipped stitches to eliminate floats, I added Stranded Ladderback Jacquard the whole way through to make it extra warm.

No real reason to make it other than I was in the mood for a quick project, it’s a great pattern, and my knitworthy son always appreciates hats :)
