I need to stop doubting anything that Alyson selects for Holla Knits. These are awesome. Even my sister is now a believer and she despises shorts with tights (my go-to not at work outfit).

The cables on these shorts are addictive once they get moving. I had a lot of fun watching them come together. I do recommend trying on the legs as you finish them and then trying them on periodically as you knit up the body of the shorts.

It is the elastic ribbing that makes them. I only did a 3/4 inch waistband rather than the 1.5 inch in the pattern. Because I knit mine as tall as I did a taller waist band would have pushed the shorts too high and cut my stomach at a weird and unflattering place.
