casted on 92 stitches. knit rib for an inch. then knit up for about 6 inches. started with 13k dec, around. found out that the hat was a bit to wide . so i picked up from the rib and knit rib down for an inch . then casted off while joining to the hat to make a cast. added some elastic in there, now its a great fitting beret.
