I’m knitting this with size 4 needles throughout the pattern in order to keep a tight knit. I started to make the bodice first by casting on 60 stitches, purling one row, knitting 31 stitches and putting remaining 29 stitches on a holder. I plan to knit the bodice first then pick up stitches on a cable needle to knit the waistband and skirt “all in one piece” by knitting in the round. I will make a picot edge for the hem at the bottom of the skirt.
