I like the quick, freestyle vibe of this pattern. I chose to cast on using size small directions and increased to meet the size medium stitch counts when splitting the front and the back of the garment.

I made some adjustments to this pattern based on finishing techniques I like when working flat:

• Knit rows: slip 1st stitch wyib, make decreases at 3&4th stitch from end(s), k2.

• Purl rows: slip 1st stitch wyif, make decreases at 3&4th stitch from end(s), p1, k1.

This didn’t seem like something I would wear until I soaked it, pulled it vertically, and let it hang to dry overnight - now I love it!
