I’m not sure I like this yarn. It feels so, so nice, and the color is also very pretty (though the picture makes it look more interesting than it actually is), but there were so many unspun sections!! I ignored them, because I don’t think the recipient will care or notice, but they distract from the pattern a bit, and at least to my eye make the stockinette look like it has rooky tension issues (harsh!). I don’t think I’ll buy the yarn again. (I like the yarn better in the project I made with all the leftovers, but I still don’t like it very much.)

You can see the mittens are big on me, but I have tiny hands, they should fit my boyfriend’s sister. If I were to make the pattern for myself (which I would like to, the pattern is very nice and makes such pretty mittens!) I’d cut out a lace repeat after the thumb, and maybe go down a needle size.

Dec 21 - Finished knitting! Bought more yarn yesterday. Since I essentially have a full skein of yarn left I might make a Bea for myself.

Dec 11 - SO CLOSE. Need more yarn. I only have four more rounds of ribbing at the top and the teeny thumb. So close.
