I used the leftover funny gauge Gala Festival from my Saroyan for this sweater. I am absolutely in love! What a perfect tiny old man sweater!

Many, many mods.

• Gauge is 5st & 7 rows/inch
• Cast on 50st
• Purl set up row of slip 1 stitch p5, place marker, p8, place marker, p24, place marker, p8, place marker, p5
• Raglan increases as in pattern, added one extra set of v-neck increases
• Increased to 162 st (22,34,50,34,22)
• Cast one extra stitch under each arm to use as purl ridge false seam. Knit body to 4 inches, then 1.5 inches garter.
• Picked up one extra stitch for each arm to use as a purl ridge false seam. Made three decreases at 1.5”, 2.5”, and 3.5”. Knit sleeves to 4 inches, then added an inch of garter.
• Picked up two stitches for every three rows for collar, started short rows for shawl shaping 25 stitches away from the edge. Only did three sets of short rows because I started to run out of yarn.
