Notes

I was going to use this yarn for some pink and white candy striped socks but as I was winding it into a ball I realized that the twist was much denser than the Huntington I had picked up for the white stripes and it just wouldn’t work. So lacy cupcake princess socks for me!

I thought I could get both socks out of one skein of yarn if I left two lace repeats out at the beginning, but when I finished the first sock it didn’t seem likely. So the socks are made out of two different dye lots (though they don’t look it, go Spud & Chloe!), and the proportions are a bit off, but I still love them. What a nice yarn!

April 16 - Finished second sock and they’ll block overnight!

April 3 - Grafted toes of first sock, started second sock!

March 30 - Cast on first sock.
