This is the hat I made out of the second skein of birthday yarn I got this year. I was under express orders to make things for myself, but I don’t particularly like this color green (or the way the color changes knit up, though they aren’t bad in this Norby) so I just made something for the friend who gave the orders instead.

I really like the Norby pattern, it’s interesting and knits up nice. I might go up a needle size if I make it again, though the hat will probably loosen up a bit as it gets worn. I’d like to make it for myself, tassels and all, someday.
