Notes

Well, six years later and I have finally finished this sweater. I skipped the collar. I can always add it later. I also skipped the cables in the double ribbing from under the bust to the waist. I actually sewed that part last, in the round. Now all I need is a photo.

Damn you Vogue Knitting! This pattern is so hard to follow I almost can’t believe it. The chart for the seed stitch and cables makes no sense. I got as far as I did basically by looking at the picture in the magazine. I put this aside because I can’t for the life of me figure out how to continue. I’ve tried to pick it up again a couple of times, but so far haven’t had the energy to figure it out.

My plan has always been to modify this pattern to make a cute little dress.

Well, 4 years after starting this project I am finally picking it back up again. I think that I have amassed enough knitting skill over the past four years to be able to sort this thing out now.
