I fell in love with this shawl when it was released.

Desperate for something lightweight to knit in my first hot NZ summer I cast it on. Loving it so far but alas … I’ve been told not to knit for a week to see if my arm stops hurting … grrrrr … back soon :)

Finished this months ago except for the two teeny ends to weave in. Do you think I got round to that? No I did not. But, today - because a blog post is looooooong overdue and I wanted to photograph my shawl (and because whoop! Whoop! the weather is indeed cooling off and I want to wear it soon) I sat down and wove in my two ends. Guess how long that took. Yip, about 3 minutes. Procrastination is terrible. Here’s that blog post I mentioned: Knitting Without Talking

This shawl is absolutely beautiful. It is such a lovely jumble of colours, light as air and pretty wrapped around my neck.

Yay! for self imposed deadlines and cooler weather.
