Notes

General
Making this into a double-sided hot pad instead of a potholder. One side Ecru & Venetian and the other Ecru & Carmine

Using 2.5mm needles for the illusion knit and 2.75 for the i-cord

Only giving this pattern four stars for Clarity because I find this kind of chart inherently confusing. Why not use the “usual” sort?!

  • after finishing chart knit one more r with Ecru and then BO knitwise on WS,
  • knitting both sides together using a 3-stitch i-cord with Ecru.
