I loved making this. It’s a remarkably quick knit despite looking quite fiddly. The exellency of the pattern probably helps. It’s wonderfully clear and detailed and all the photos makes it extremely easy to follow. And the finished cat is so cute!

Timeline
2014-07-16: Test knitted. Looks like I’ll have to use 2.5 needles. Though DPNs handle a little differently so we’ll have to see.
2014-07-17: Managed to finish the head and one ear today even though I didn’t have that much time for knitting.
2014-07-18: The 2.5mm needles are a little too thin. If I make another one with this yarn I’ll use 3mm.?
2014-07-19: Made the torso a little shorter, 3 round instead of 4 and 7 instead of 8.
2014-07-20: Things I’ve learned that I didn’t know before:
a) closed cast on,
b) grafting.
2014-07-23: He’s finished and he’s adorable!!!
