ETA 2015-04-24: This yarn is really too harsh and itchy to wear next to the neck. It went to the recycling centre.

I sometimes wish I didn’t like linen stitch so much. It’s really hard on my poor hands. But the result is so pretty!

Cast on 99 stitches with double yarn - from the inside and the outside of the skein - on a long 6mm needle. Transfered to 5mm DPNs for the actual knitting. Cast off using this method.

2014-10-20: I’d forgotten how harsh and stiff this yarn is to knit with. (It softens up a lot after washing.) My hands don’t like it at all. And since linen stitch is already hard on my hands this is going to be quite a slow knit I feel.

2014-10-28: Finished! And washed and blocked too.
