A simple and clever pattern that gives a fabulous result. I love the way the colours and textures interact and contrast.
I’m not sure I really like this yarn. Chainette yarns feel so strange when you knit. The colours are gorgeous though.

Since this is going to be a mainly decorative summer scarf I made the overlapping section 14st instead of 20 = cast on 25st at the beginning.
Knitted 20 rows of colour B at the end instead of 16.

Timeline
2016-05-18: Decided I wanted a slightly narrower scarf so unravelled and started over.
2016-06-04: Finished! Soaked and blocked it and is now waiting for it to dry.
