While knitting the second sock I forgot I’d included the ribbing at the edges of the heelflap and made it all stockinet instead. The fit is about the same however so I’m not frogging and reknitting.

Mods

• cuff 12 r,
• leg chart r 1-20 three times + r 1-4, decreased two st on the back of the leg on r 70,
• heelflap 36 r decreasing 3 st on the first r, slipped first and last st on all WS r, round heel,
• picked up 20 st on each side for gussets and also moved 2 st on each side from instep to gusset, decreased every third r until 30 st left on sole,
• foot chart r 5-20 + 1-20 three times + 1-3,
• toe decreased every third r until 32 st left (one extra st on instep on first r) then ever r until 8 left, cut yarn and pulled through,
• mirrored pattern on second sock.
