General
Both the charts and the written directions have purl stitches between the lace sections but the pattern photos shows knit stitches. I’m using purls. They set off the “rivers” better.

Used 2.5mm needles for cuffs and first half of pattern repeat, 2.25 for the rest

Mods

• cuff ordinary CO + 12 r k1p2 rib,
• leg moved BOR 1 st backwards to centre the pattern, Chart r 1-32 twice,
• heelflap 34 r stockinet decreasing 2 st on the first r and 2 on the eleventh, round heel,
• gussets picked up 20+1 st on each side, decreased every second r until 36 st left on sole,
• instep Chart r 1-32 twice + r 1-24,
• toe decreased every second r until 36 st left then every r until 8 left,
• mirrored second sock.
