Mods

• hat cast on 36 st, no earflaps, used all three colours, knit 12 r shorter,
• using lifted increases,
• body knit 5 r + increase r + 4 r + increase r + 7 r + increase r (no chart 12), changed colour knit r 2-14 of chart 13 + decreased as pattern, used old beads to make it bottom heavy,
• made arms 3 + 15 r,
• sweater cast on 5 st under each arm = 48 st for body and used a modified chart 12 for colourwork, picked up 4 st for sleeves = 14 st, decreased to 10 st + knit 4 more r before starting cuff,
• knit beard without increases,
• cat body slightly shorter and with a simple colourwork border, tail over 4 st.
